Fry 250 g of diced meat (pork, chicken, beef, or charqui) with a little oil. Add 3½ cups (875 ml) of water and the packet contents. Cook over medium heat for 35–45 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking. Serve with rice and garnish with parsley.
